Apple shuts Lala down

Apple who last December bought the music streaming service Lala, apparently didn't find use for their services or are just boldly trying to take down any potential competitor to their music service iTunes; because according to the message displayed at the Lala homepage, the website will close May 31st and as of now they're not accepting new members.

Existing members will retain songs bought through the service and any leftover credits or unused gift cards will be transferred as itunes credits.
